Islamic Wills in Kitchener-Waterloo
Islamic Wills for Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge — finished from home
Waterloo Region's Muslim community is woven into its universities, hospitals and tech companies, and its families are busy. islamicwillnow.com is a Waterloo Region Islamic Will service designed around that: prepare your Sharia-compliant Ontario Will online, then sign it by secure video at a time that works for you.
The hardest part of any Will kit is the signing — finding two eligible witnesses together in one room and getting the Affidavit of Execution commissioned. Tier 2 does that for you online. Your witnesses join by video, one of them a Law Society of Ontario licensee, and Form 74D is commissioned remotely. You never have to leave Kitchener-Waterloo.
Sign without leaving home
No office visit and no time off work. Your Tier 2 signing happens by video from your home in Kitchener, Waterloo or Cambridge.
The witness problem, solved
Generic Will kits leave you to find two witnesses who aren't beneficiaries. Tier 2 provides both, including the licensee Ontario law requires for video signing.
Probate-ready Form 74D
Your Affidavit of Execution is pre-filled and commissioned at the same video appointment, so your executor isn't searching for witnesses years later.
Built for Waterloo Region families
Families connected to the University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier University, Conestoga College and the region's tech and health sectors often have estates that are more complex than they look: RRSPs and workplace pensions with named beneficiaries, stock options, a home in Kitchener or Waterloo, and relatives overseas who may be heirs under Faraid.
Your Will includes a Schedule “A” that applies the Quranic shares under the Hanafi, Shafi'i, Maliki or Hanbali school, after Mahr, debts and any Wasiyyah of up to one-third. It names your executor, appoints a guardian for minor children, and sets a trust age, while Family Law Act safeguards keep the Will workable in Ontario.
Graduate students and new permanent residents building a life in the region can start with a simple individual Will and update it as the family grows. Couples prepare mirror Wills in one order and sign together on the same video call.

Kitchener-Waterloo Islamic Will questions
- Can I sign my Will online if I live in Kitchener or Waterloo?
- Yes. Ontario's Succession Law Reform Act (s. 4(3)) allows a Will to be witnessed by video when at least one witness is a Law Society of Ontario licensee. Tier 2 provides that witness, so your signing is done entirely from home.
- What do I need for the video signing?
- A laptop or computer with a camera and microphone, a quiet private room, your printed documents, a pen and government-issued photo ID. Do not sign anything before the call.
- Are my Powers of Attorney signed online too?
- Yes. Ontario's Substitute Decisions Act allows the same video witnessing for Powers of Attorney for Property and Personal Care, so the whole package is completed in one appointment.
- Is a Will signed by video accepted at probate in Waterloo Region?
- A Will properly executed by video under the Succession Law Reform Act is a valid Ontario Will. Your Form 74D Affidavit of Execution is commissioned at the appointment so your executor has it ready for the court.
- I'm in Guelph or Woodstock. Can I use this service?
- Yes. Online Tier 2 signing is available to Ontario residents anywhere in the province, including Guelph, Woodstock, Stratford and Brantford.
